Episode 19 | Generating electrical energy from ambient temperatures

In today's episode, project engineer Marvin Abt is our guest. He explains what thermoelectric generators (TEG) are and how they work. They are often named in the context of so-called energy harvesting. Energy harvesting describes the approach of drawing energy from the environment.

The way thermoelectric generators work is mostly based on the Seebeck effect. How exactly the energy is generated, what screen printing has to do with it, and for whom the use of thermoelectric generators in production can be useful, is described by Marvin Abt in this episode.
