The research department Logistics is responsible for the following activities, among others:

• Elaboration, application, implementation and controlling of research projects in the field of production logistics.
• Dissemination of research results to industry through publications, social media, trade fairs and events
• Elaboration, acquisition, implementation and controlling of industrial projects with companies on the topics of factory and layout planning, IT system selection, material flow simulation and artificial intelligence
• Qualification of employees and students
• Potential assessment and integration of new technologies such as VR, AR, AI, drones, 3D printing in production logistics issues

Your tasks

Supporting the department management in various strategic and operational tasks and issues, e.g.:

• Review and development of new research priorities
• Gathering information on trends and technologies
• Creation of tools, reports and reports
• Support of internal projects in the areas of IT software, corporate events
• Collaboration in the area of social media
• Desired is a cooperation on an equal footing, the contribution of own impulses and ideas and a time-flexible support.

Your profile

You study one of the following subjects:

• Industrial Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Economics
• Information Systems
• or comparable

You are interested in production logistics and want to get to know scientific work. Very good written and spoken German language skills are necessary for the job. Basic programming skills, e.g. with VBA, are desirable but not a prerequisite.
