Are you interested in artificial intelligence and its potential applications in business, and would you like to play an active role at the interface between research and practice? Then you've come to the right place!

The AI Act-Ready research project aims to support companies in dealing with the AI Act (also known as the AI Regulation) and other AI regulations and recommendations safely and independently, implementing the requirements with minimal effort and legal certainty, and creating individual internal AI guidelines.

Your tasks

  • Research on current AI applications in industry and other sectors
  • Research on current AI regulations, standards, and recommendations, e.g., using topic modeling
  • Analysis of existing concepts, tools, and methods for introducing and using AI in companies
  • In-depth preparation and documentation of practical examples and use cases
  • Identification of risks associated with AI applications in operation and development of possible solutions
  • Participation in scientific publications or presentations (depending on interest)

Your profile

  • Studies in the field of computer science, industrial engineering, data science, technical communication, sociology, psychology, law, or a comparable subject
  • Interest in interdisciplinary issues relating to artificial intelligence and its practical implementation
  • Initial experience with AI applications or motivation to familiarize yourself intensively with the subject
  • Very good German skills and good written and spoken English skills
