The use of driverless transport vehicles is becoming increasingly important. This development can also be seen in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The potential arising from this has also led to increased interest in the use of AGVs in intralogistics on the research side.
The aim of the bachelor's/project/master's thesis is to investigate the extent to which the logistics performance of AGVs in intralogistics can be improved.
Your tasks
- Literature research on FTF, logistical parameters, etc.
- Concept development
- Simulation setup (e.g. in Anylogic)
- Network coding of driverless transport vehicles
- Material flow analysis to investigate logistics performance
- Programming in Python
- etc.
Your profile
You are studying one of the following subjects:
- Industrial engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Production and logistics
- Mechatronics
- Electrical engineering
- Business informatics
You are interested in automation, intralogistics and automated guided vehicles.
You also have knowledge of:
- Programming with Python
- Simulation environments (Anylogic, ROS, Gazebo, etc.)
Good written and spoken German and English skills are necessary for the job.
