The AkuTra project is developing an intelligent system for monitoring the condition of belt conveyor systems. This comprises an AI-based measuring unit and a transport unit, which is implemented by a drone (UAV). The use of AI and drones is intended to enable autonomous monitoring of belt conveyor systems.
Your tasks
Your tasks will include:
- Developing simulations
- Designing components for test setups
- Quality control in test orders from industry
- Collaborating on industrial projects in production automation
- Conducting market and literature research
- Contributing your own ideas and concepts
Your profile
What you bring to the table:
- You are a student in mechatronics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, Matlab, or C/C++)
- Understanding of PLC technology, design, and simulations
- Enjoyment of practical implementation and interdisciplinary teamwork
- Independent, creative way of working and enjoyment of experimentation
