You will work together with project and software engineers across projects and support them in their project work. One example project is the automated camera-based ergonomic evaluation of workstations. In this research project, camera data is analysed with AI in order to automatically evaluate workplace stress. Another example project is imitation learning for the transfer of human skills to industrial trucks, in which complex situations of storage and retrieval processes for industrial trucks are automated using artificial intelligence.

Your tasks

  • Development of prototypes, visualization programs and data managers 
  • Testing and optimizing ML algorithms in Python 
  • Testing and fine-tuning of large language models 
  • Desirable: self-written performance tests in hardware-related programming languages such as C, C++ or Rust 

Your profile

You are studying one of the following subjects: 

  • Computer science  
  • Mathematics 
  • Physics 
  • Robotics  
  • Production engineering 
  • Electrical engineering 
  • Or similar 

You are interested in data analysis, programming and artificial intelligence. 

You also have a good knowledge of Python and have some experience with ML models. Good written and spoken German and English skills are desirable.
