Your tasks

We are looking for a dedicated Student Assistant (m/f/d) to support our team in the area of building automation. Your main tasks will be:

  • Developing and implementing building automation solutions using Node-RED and Grafana.
  • Configuration and integration of various interfaces such as Modbus and TCP/IP
  • Managing and maintaining gateways and IoT devices
  • Carrying out tests and evaluations of the automated building systems
  • Documentation of project results

Your profile

  • Enrolled in a technical degree programme such as computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or similar
  • Interest and basic knowledge in building automation and IoT
  • Experience or willingness to learn Node-RED and Grafana
  • Knowledge in dealing with interfaces such as Modbus and TCP/IP is an advantage
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Ability to work in a team and reliability
  • Flexibility in terms of monthly working hours (probably 23 to 40 hours)
